I had a request to show some of my illustrator process in more detail. I set up a process set on Flickr, using the skull face illustration as an example.

Whoa, I am getting clever with post titles. Watch out.
Anyway, to keep with the trend of vector art this week I made yet another piece today. AND it is even more of a finished piece than the previous offerings!
As you can clearly see, it is a guy, with a mustache. I added some finishing touches via the ol’ photoshop to yellow it up a bit and and a hint of texture.

Here is the sketch I did for it. It was done in Flash with a mouse. Drawing in Flash with a mouse is entirely more fun than it has a right to be.

That’s all.

I once again found myself playing around in illustrator. I made something a bit more finished.
Though, I must confess, the idea is not quite mine. You see, my friend Chris drew a rad Skull Face guy. You can see it at his blog And while it was not my intention to make a skull face when I started, it happened and I ran with it. Anyway, this is my skull face.

That is all for now.
These are some random things I made playing around in Illustrator recently. Nothing finished, just doodles.
