Well, both painting have gotten a move on, and well, there is no clear leader yet.

Of 2 new paintings.  One is larger, 2 foot square on canvas.  The other is smaller, roughly 10×15 on a 12×16 hot press watercolor block.

The bigger one.  Its a space monster attacking, but the jokes on him…  Skull people!

And the littler one.  An over weight and dazed looking fellow sitting…

It’s going to be like a race to see which gets finished first or which one wins my attention. Exciting times!

I started this painting a couple weeks ago.  It was my initial intention to make a quick painting.  I had an idea of how I thought it would go.  As it turns out it did not go as planned and took way longer.  Though, it seemed like it got away from me a few times I think I roped it back in, in the end.  Over all I am happy.  Though it bears a striking resemblance to this piece I did a year and a half ago…

Anyway, this is the new painting:

I was stuck in an airport waiting for a late flight to become a reality and I made this this:

See, those are angry teeth.  And his lack of wings is keeping him stuck on the ground.  Yep, this screams delayed airplane…  Or something.
