Hello,

This is going to be one of the rare posts where I don’t post any new work. Rather, this will be a post of photos.

I just returned from a weekend in Los Angeles so I could attend the opening of the Crazy 4 Cult 2: This Time It’s Personal show at Gallery 1988. I had a painting in the show, which I have already posted to this blog, so wont put it here again. The opening was pretty fantastic.  There was a ridiculous number of people in attendance, the line to get in stretched clear around the block.  It was fun to get to witness it all.

The show itself is very impressive as well, packed to bursting with fantastic paintings from a ton or really amazing artists.

Anyhow, here are some photos I took at the opening:

I painted this cardboard square a couple months ago.  It never got posted.  I have decided it is high time it got itself posted.

I made this doodle recently.

I decided to make it into a digital piece.  So I made this thing.

The doodle was kind of cute.  This, I think, is just sort of strange…
