Here is the 8th Twin Peaks Portrait.  It might be the last one.  I might do one more.  I might just do a Big Ed if I have the time.  In the mean time, this rounds out the 8 I set out to do.  They all need a little more polish so to speak before I deem them done.  But they are close.

Man From Another Place.

I have spent the long weekend painting like a fiend.  I am working on a  series of Twin Peaks portraits.  Here are the first seven, as they exist at the end of this weekend:

All done of wood panels, roughly 5″x8″.

I think these are mostly done, but noting is for sure just yet.  I’ll be doing at least one more, maybe 3 more, depending on time and motivation.

This group is quite a bit different than my normal stuff I think…

Better quality versions will be posted when I decide they are done.

I have been plugging away at a new project.  It has been slow going and I have been building a small mountain of prep work and sketches for it.  Here is a photo when the pile was tiny.

I think the pile has increased in size nearly 10 fold in the past several days.  But the good news is, I should be in a prime spot to being painting like a fiend all weekend.  If all goes well, I’ll post more, and an explanation of the project next week.  If it doesn’t go well, then I will post something someday…
