I think I will post a recap of all the Some Tiny Teeth paintings for any given month, once that month is over. So here are all the paintings I did for March. Clicking them will take you to the other blog.

So there you have it. 9 paintings for March, all 5×5 acrylic on canvas.  24 for done for the year, 76 more to go.

Way back when, circa 2003(ish) when I was in the height of art school, I took many animation classes.  I have mostly ignored my animation training since.  But wouldn’t you know it, I ran across all the scans from my character animation class.  I lost the VHS with everything compiled on it, and the source files vanished into the ether, so I had not seen these things pretty much since 2003.  Well, it occurred to me with my shiny new flash I should be able to re-compile these bad boys and take a gander.  They made me giggle.  I thought I’d share.

First up, the project titled: Nice

I think the goal of this was to show two characters where one helps the other. The fella on the left is sad he only has 1 nipple. The wide fella on the right has 3 nipples, so he decides to share. All rejoice. Technical back-end, I busted out my long lost actionscript knowledge to make the movie pan slightly to the left. The effect is worthless and took me over an hour to figure out. It was totally worth it.

Secondly, the project titled: Fight

I think the goal of this was to show two characters where one does not help the other. Clearly there is an angry drunk man, and an annoying fella who never learned to dress himself asks the old man to whack him in the face. Everyone probably won.

SO there you have it, two animation things that have not seen the light of day in probably 7 years. I have a few others, that I might post if I can find the sound files that go along with them (these two are sound free).
