I was staring at a couple sketchbooks I have sitting on my desk all the time. They don’t get much love, in lieu of a graph-paper notebook. However, the have a benefit of thick smooth paper. And sometimes I think I should paint in them. I did once long ago. This weekend, I decided to try painting in one again. For two purposes: to test out some new paint colors and to remind myself I should paint in these sketchbooks more often. So here you go:

If you have a true eagle eye you may think to yourself, ‘Wait a minute, this looks familiar!’ Well, it might, it was sort of painted before when I was trying out my golden opens.
