Gallery 1988 x Adult Swim
Gallery 1988 is having a show opening January 13 with an Adult Swim theme. My favorite Adult Theme show is definitely The Venture Brothers, heck, I think it might be my favorite cartoon on right now. A fine show, full of fine characters. These are what I made (all acrylic on maple):
Hank Venture and Dean Venture, the titular characters themselves
Title: “Are You There, God? It’s Me, Dean”
Dr. Thaddeus “Rusty” Venture and Brock Samson
Title: “The Buddy System”
Henchmen 21 & 24
Title: “Tears of a Sea Cow”
Dr. Girlfriend and The Monarch
Title: “The Trial of the Monarch”
Keep an eye out for the show, the work is sure to be amazing.

You do know that The Monarch is actually a clone of Thaddeus Venture?
Or were you just trying to make a Venture Bros version of the “The Eye of the Beholder” Twilight Zone episode?
