Two Paintings. Two Days.

Over the long weekend I had a chance to head over to the Paper Bicycle studio for a couple raucous nights of art making. I made one painting each night, no plan going in to either of them, just sat down and went with it. Good times.

Untimely bill murray post

Wow, I realize I never posted anything about the Bill Murray art show I participated in at Gallery 1988 is LA.  Check out the show here (I think its still up at the gallery too): Link!

Now, for my Bill Murray, I decided not to reference any specific movie, but more just the fella himself. And what do I like as much as Mr. Murray? Painting wrinkles and folds. SO, I combined these two things I like, Bill and painting wrinkles and painted Bill with lots of wrinkles.

Bad Dads: Wes Anderson Tribute

I made three paintings depiciting Max Fischer (Jason Schwartzman) from Rushmore, decked out in various ‘extra curicular’ garb.
